COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
According to the Bureau of Justice Statistics, nearly 7
million people were on probation, in jail or prison, or on
parole at yearend 2004 -- 3.2% of all U.S. adult residents
or 1 in every 31 adults.
This rise has created a demand for qualified workers to fill
an increased amount of positions. Completion of the criminal
justice community corrections course of study at SCCC will
provide the solid foundation necessary for success in areas
such as the following:
